The public company Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda, E.P. was created by Decreto-Lei n.º 225/72 of 4 July, having been transformed by the Decreto-Lei n.º 170/99 of 19 May, into a public limited company with exclusively public capital, changing its name to Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda, SA, abbreviated to INCM, SA
INCM's main activities are the production of goods and services fundamental to the functioning of the Portuguese State, the minting of metallic coins and the publishing of official publications, where the Diário da República (Official Gazette) stands out. It also produces security documents, authenticates precious metal artefacts and publishes essential works of Portuguese and universal culture.
The INCM store working hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. In the Lisboa and Porto shops the working hours are from Monday to Friday from 09h00 to 19h00 and on Saturday from 09h00 to 13h00. The Coimbra shop is open from 9h00 to 18h00. Occasionally, these hours may be altered. Please confirm previously through our Customer Service Centre.

It is the place where the products duly identified in the respective catalogues can be purchased online
You can change your details during the course of a purchase in the online shop. You can choose to have the change apply to that purchase only, or you can make the change permanent and apply it to all future purchases.
At the INCM online shop you can find books, coins, printed matter, official publications, medals, art and others.
The order of any product, chosen from among the existing products in the catalogue, is made by placing it in the shopping cart.
The shipment is made through CTT, or other similar carrier.
Orders can be paid by ATM, credit card and payshop.
The delivery of products purchased through this service respects the legal norms applicable in Portugal to the exercise of commerce at a distance.
The card is issued at the customer's request, by filling in the adhesion form, available online or in INCM shops. After validating the request it is automatically done the attribution of the card number that is immediately available by email or by letter. The card issue is made afterwards, being delivered at the shop or sent to the customer's address.
The card can be used in purchases of all INCM products, in the Stores, postal orders and in the online shop in the INCM website, except for advertisements publications and DR subscriptions and coins exchanged at face value. The cardholder will receive in gift-cheques 18.75 Euros for each purchase volume of 375 Euros, excluding VAT, accumulated in a period of less than 1 year. Besides the discounts, and special payment conditions, the customer card holders will also be able to benefit from specific promotion campaigns for card holders and to be informed in due time, especially via email, of the beginning of commercialisation of INCM products.
