ONLINE STORE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
A. USE OF THE SERVICE
1. INCM may, at any time, change, in whole or in part, these "Terms and Conditions", and the respective updated version is always available on our website.
2. "User" means any individual or institution that, in general, through the Website, visits the content made available on it.
3. The User undertakes to use this online purchase service of products from the Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda, S. A. (INCM) in compliance with the legislation in force that is applicable, as well as the "Terms and Conditions" set out herein.
4. The access and use by the User of the Website implies the acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of the Online Store and the commitment on his part, to respect each and every one of the terms and conditions established. If you are using the Website on behalf of another person or on behalf of an institution, you confirm that the person you are representing also agrees to the terms and conditions, committing to comply with them.
5. Nevertheless, INCM reserves the right to suspend, temporarily and without prior notice, access to the Website or to certain areas or functionalities available on it, namely for maintenance reasons. INCM assumes no responsibility for damages arising from possible situations of impossibility, delay, suspension or interruption in access to the Website due to technical failures or other reasons. INCM does not guarantee that access to the Website will not suffer interruptions or disruptions resulting from technical problems.
6. Personal Data that is voluntarily provided by the User is subject to our Privacy Policy.
7. The User undertakes to make appropriate and lawful use of the Website, as well as the Content and Products that are marketed therein, in accordance with the applicable legislation at all times. The User shall refrain from:
a. Make unauthorized or fraudulent use of the Website and/or the Content for illicit purposes or effects, access or attempt to access resources or restricted areas of the Website without complying with the conditions required for such access.
b. Introduce or disseminate on the network any form or device that causes or is likely to cause any type of change in the computer systems of the Website or third parties.
c. The User guarantees that the activities he/she develops in the use or access to the Website will in no case result in offenses to the good name and commercial image of INCM, of persons or entities associated with it.
8. In the event of non-compliance with any of the stipulations of these Terms and Conditions of the Online Store by the User, INCM reserves the right to momentarily or permanently interrupt the User's access to the Website, as well as proceed with the cancellation of their orders.
9. The sale of products through the INCM Online Store is subject to compliance with the standards defined by Law No 83/2017 of 18 August 2017 establishing measures to combat money laundering and terrorist financing, partially transposing Directives 2015/849/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2015 and 2016/2258/EU of the Council of 6 December 2016, amending the Criminal Code and the Industrial Property Code and revokes the Law n.º 25/2008 of 5 June 2008 and Decree-Law n.º 125/2008 of 21 July 2008.
10. The Website contains texts, photographs, graphics, logos, images, works subject to copyright.
11. Users/Customers of the online store can be:
a. Final consumers, subject to VAT assessment, with the exception of those resident in countries outside the European Union.
b. Customer Companies duly identified and accredited to acquire specific products and under previously agreed commercial conditions.
12. The delivery of products purchased in the online store respects the legal rules applicable in Portugal to the exercise of distance commerce, in accordance with the provisions of Decree-Law n.º 24/2014, of 14 February, as amended by Law n.º 47/2014, of 28 July and by Decree-Law n.º 78/2018, of 15 October.
B. REGISTRATION IN THE ONLINE STORE
1. The registration of a user in the online store is made through the option Registration, being differentiated according to whether it is a Final Consumer or Business Customer.
2. This registration allows an easier purchase process, with the recording of the user's identification data, allowing an immediate recognition of the same.
3. The Customer can update online their delivery data and Tax Identification Number in the customer area.
4. Access is restricted to each Customer and guaranteed by the use of a login and password.
5. Associated with your registration, if you have opted, you will receive in the email provided the information about marketing campaigns and our newsletter being at your disposal the option to be removed from the mailing list of any marketing and dissemination information.
6. For the final consumer:
a. When registering, you can choose to join the “INCM Client Card” programme, with all the associated benefits, which can be found in the Conditions of Accession to the “Client Card” section. This Program is not available to Business Customers with specific payment conditions.
b. The Taxpayer Number indicated in the registration will be associated, by default, with the invoice issued at the end of the order processing. The Customer can update online his Tax Identification Number for billing purposes, whenever making a purchase in the online store, in the customer area.
7. For the client companies:
a. The “INCM Customer Card” programme is not available to Business Customers with specific conditions of sale and payment.
b. The Business Customer after successfully registered, is entitled to purchase the products in the online store. In case the catalog of products of the offer Companies is not available, the Client Companies should contact INCM through the email grafica.apoiocliente@incm.pt to start the accreditation process.
c. The Tax Identification Number indicated in the registration will be associated, by default, with the invoice issued at the end of the order processing and cannot be changed
C. PRODUCTS IN THE ONLINE STORE
1. Products properly identified in the respective Catalogues can be purchased in the online store.
2. The products that are intended for acquisition by Business Customers have restricted access and can only be purchased by duly registered and accredited users.
3. The non-availability in the online store of a product does not mean that it is sold out at INCM, and may be available through another distribution channel of the company.
4. The products available in the online store have a limited stock so they may become unavailable without prior notice.
5. In case of stock rupture occurring after the payment of the order, INCM reserves the right to return the amount corresponding to the order. INCM will inform the client and proceed to the refund within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of the information provided by the IBAN client for the refund.
For the means of payment Credit Card and Multibanco Reference, in the absence of information from IBAN, the return will be made by the same means of payment.
6. Normal-fineness coins are intended for circulation and are produced using high-speed minting and packaging processes that can cause scratches on the surface due to contact between the coins in each batch. These risks are not accepted as grounds for complaint. Any other type of defect in this type of coins will be subject to specific analysis.
D. PRICES
1. The prices shown in the catalogue are in Euros and include VAT at the legal rate in force at the time of purchase, plus the respective shipping costs.
2. INCM reserves the right to change prices at any time.
3. The price of the products, the value of VAT and the cost of postage are duly broken down before the final validation phase of the purchase.
4. Only prices displayed on an updated page should be considered valid, excluding cached information and non-updated pages as it considers that they may show prices that are no longer in force.
5. Any other costs resulting from sending parcels abroad, including customs clearance costs, will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser of the product.
6. The INCM informs that the prices practiced and made available in the INCM online store may vary from the prices practiced in the INCM physical stores.
E. DISCOUNTS
1. In the INCM Online Store, several promotional campaigns can be presented as a percentage of the initial PVP.
2. Promotional campaigns have a certain period of validity, duly broken down at the tops of the campaign catalogues.
3. Adding a product to your cart without completing the order does not guarantee the price or discount.
F. ORDER
1. The order of a product, chosen from among those in the product catalog, is made by placing it in the shopping cart and completing the order.
2. Purchases made in the online store are differentiated by the Final Consumer or by the Business Customer, being processed in separate shopping carts.
3. Adding of a product to the cart, without completing the order, does not guarantee the purchase.
4. For some products, duly identified in the online store, the purchase may be limited to a certain number of copies per customer up to the limit of available stock.
5. For some products, the purchase requires a minimum quantity or other rules duly identified in the online store in the detail of the product.
6. For orders of Complaints Books – Model 1898, Electronic Complaints Modules and Complaints Book Record, it is not possible to change the data after processing the order.
7. In the event of loss confirmed by the delivery service, INCM does not guarantee the return of a new order, due to availability of stock. In these cases, the refund of the corresponding value of the lost products is guaranteed.
8. The deadline for requesting clarifications on deliveries is 30 days. After this period, no claims related to orders will be accepted.
G. CANCELLATION, EXCHANGE AND RETURN
1. The customer has the right to terminate the contract, returning the complete articles in good condition, without the need to indicate the reason, within 14 days from the delivery of the product, being refunded by INCM the total value of the order. The right to return the product "Complaints Module - Electronic Complaints Book" is excluded; “Complaints Book (private activity - model 1898”; “Complaints Book-Notice”.
2. The order can be canceled by completing the form available in this channel with the exception of the products "Complaints Module - Electronic Complaints Book"; “Complaints Book (private activity - model 1898”; “Complaints Book-Notice”. Once the registration number has been assigned and placed for distribution, the order data cannot be changed.
3. The cancellation request only takes effect when the order number and the customer's name are indicated correctly on the form.
4. INCM reserves the right not to exchange products, being applicable the process of return of order and refund of the corresponding amount.
5. INCM bears the costs of return shipping, when the item is damaged or if there has been an error in its shipment. In other situations, any costs of return will be the responsibility of the buyer.
6. The return of the corresponding value of the order only takes effect after the good reception of the products in our services. The refund of the amount will be made up to 30 days after receipt.
7. Returned products must be complete and in good condition.
8. The corresponding value of the order is returned after the process initiated, according to the previous point, by the same means of payment. If it is not possible to make the refund by the same means, the IBAN will be requested and the bank transfer with the amount will be made.
9. If the refund of the value of the order is requested, discounted gift cheques cannot be recovered.
10. If the order exceeds the purchase limit defined and indicated in the respective product, INCM reserves the right to cancel it and return the corresponding amount within 30 days.
11. Due to high demand on coin launch days, stock outages may occur.
12. In case of stock rupture occurring after the payment of the order, INCM reserves the right to return the amount corresponding to the order. INCM will inform the client and proceed to the refund within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of the information provided by the IBAN client for the refund.
For the means of payment Credit Card and Multibanco Reference, in the absence of information from IBAN, the return will be made by the same means of payment.
13. It is not possible to change the chosen collection point of the order after processing it. In this situation, INCM reserves the right to terminate the sales contract, returning the corresponding amount within 30 days from the date of return to the warehouse. The right to return the product "Complaints Module - Electronic Complaints Book" is excluded; “Complaints Book (private activity - model 1898”; “Complaints Book-Notice”.
H. FORMS OF PAYMENT
Final consumer
1. The products may be paid through the different means of electronic payment made available, the costs of which are borne by the customer and debited in the sales document. Payment in the INCM online store can only be made via:
a. Credit card
You will need to fill in the requested card details in the spaces indicated.
b. Multibanco Reference (Exclusive of the National Interbank Network)
For payment by ATM reference you have 24 hours, after the reference is generated, for payment. At the end of this period the order is automatically canceled. The ATM reference is sent to the registration email.
c. MBWAY (National Interbank Network Exclusive)
The customer has a short period of time, 4 (four) minutes, to confirm the purchase. After this time limit the purchase order expires, in these cases it will be necessary to repeat the purchase process to receive a new notification.
2. To ensure the reliability of the payment method it is not possible to change the payment method chosen.
3. All orders placed in our online store are subject to payment within the deadline and by the means chosen at the time of purchase. If the payment is not made within the stipulated period, the order will be automatically canceled and cannot be recovered.
4. Shopify Payments is an integrated payment processing solution on the Shopify platform. Payments and refunds processed by this service may have longer terms.
5. If the buyer of the products is the holder of the INCM Customer Card, you can discount in the online store your gift cheques.
a. Gift cheques cannot be discounted against the value of currency exchanges at face value or in postage payments.
b. More than one gift voucher may be used for the same purchase, provided that the total value of the purchase is greater than the discount amount.
c. If the refund of the value of the order is requested, discounted gift cheques cannot be recovered.
6. Given the time required to reconcile payments by ATM, the forms of payment accepted by our online store may be temporarily restricted to the credit card, especially in periods of greater influx.
This solution will ensure the immediate verification of stock availability and, consequently, a faster and more efficient processing of orders, minimizing the possible need for subsequent rectifications.
Certain that this is an indispensable measure to safeguard a level of service adequate to the expectations of our customers, we regret any inconvenience that it may cause to all prefer other forms of payment such as MBWAY or Multibanco Reference (MB).
Client Companies

I. SENDING CONDITIONS AND DELIVERY DEADLINE
1. Our deliveries are sent via CTT Expresso and delivered by hand, in an hourly window between 09h00 and 19h00. In the event that the first delivery does not take place, the Customer may request the second delivery. In the absence of this contact, the product is returned to our services.
2. The return of orders to our services is informed by email. The customer can respond to the email indicated with the request for referral, within a maximum period of 6 months. After this period the order is cancelled and a refund is made.
3. Only 3 returns are possible, after this limit the value of the order is returned.
4. The shipping record for tracking orders is always sent to the registration email at the time of shipment.
5. The order is considered delivered after confirmation from the distributor, on the respective website (ctt.pt).
6. The deadline for requesting clarifications on deliveries is 30 days. After this period, no claims related to orders will be accepted.
7. No deliveries are made in Apartados.
8. Sending Gold Coins Proof
Please note that temporarily shipping gold coins is only available to the following countries: Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burundi, China - Hong Kong, China - Macao, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Ghana, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Morocco, Mauritius, Moldova, Namibia, Norway, Poland (Rep.), Russia (Federation), Solomon (Islands), Serbia (Rep.), Singapore, South Sudan, Sweden, Thailand, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vatican City, South Africa.
9. Orders of graphic products, metal or other materials may have separate shipments, without adding the value of postage.
10. Orders are processed and dispatched in the order of the order, with expected delivery within the indicated deadlines, and it is not possible to schedule the delivery of orders.
11. Deadlines:
a. Mainland Portugal
Standard shipping through CTT: Shipping costs are calculated by the weight of your order, with the lowest value being €3.30 that applies to orders from 0kg to 2kg. In mainland Portugal orders are delivered, as a rule, within 07 to 10 working days, after the date of payment.
b. Madeira and Azores
Standard shipping through CTT: Shipping costs are calculated by the weight of your order, the lowest value being € 8.33 that applies to orders from 0kg to 2kg. In the Autonomous Regions and depending on the Islands, the delivery time can vary between 07 to 10 working days.
c. Rest of the World
Carriers vary depending on the country of destination. Shipping costs are calculated by the weight of your order and the country of destination at checkout of the order. Delivery times vary depending on the country of destination.
d. Collection Points
Orders are delivered, as a rule, within 07 to 10 working days, after the date of the respective payment.
Important: The deadlines indicated are indicative only, based on the order history. Delivery times may be subject to changes and delays according to external factors, such as holidays, weekends, festive dates (Black Friday, Christmas season, Easter, among others), time zones and country (customs) laws, among others. If there is attempted delivery and absence of the recipient, this may also delay delivery.
12. Collection Points
a. Available to INCM stores : Loja Lisboa - Filipa de Vilhena | Loja de Coimbra | Loja de Porto
b. Orders are delivered, as a rule, within 07 to 10 working days, after the date of the respective payment.
c. This option your order is free of shipping costs.
d. You will receive an email informing you of the availability of the order pickup. Your order will be available for pick-up at the selected physical store, requiring the presentation of the appropriate identification to pick it up.
e. The deadline for picking up orders is 30 days from the date of the email received about the availability of pick up.
f. This option may not be available on coin launch days.
g. It is not possible to change the Pickup Point chosen after processing the order. In this situation, INCM reserves the right to terminate the sales contract, returning the corresponding amount within 30 days from the date of return to the warehouse. "Complaints Module - Electronic Complaints Book" products are excluded from the right to terminate the contract of sale; “Complaints Book (private activity - model 1898”; “Complaints Book-Notice”.
h. By selecting the in-store pickup option, customers agree to confirm the contents of the order on-site. Any problems should be reported immediately to the store or customer service team.
J. COMPLAINTS
1. The Client has the right to submit his complaints to Imprensa Nacional - Casa da Moeda, S.A., at any time, within the legal parameters established for this purpose.
2. The Customer may submit his complaints by completing the form available in this channel "Suggestions", by email reclamacoes@incm.pt or through the Electronic Complaints Book ( https://www.livroreclamacoes.pt).

K. "CUSTOMER CARD" CONDITIONS
1. CUSTOMER CARD GRANTING
a. The INCM “Customer Card” is granted to all persons, natural or legal, and is generated at the request of the customer, by completing the registration form in the online store or requested in the physical store.
b. The “Customer Card” is not physical and is available on the system 24 hours after its subscription.
c. The “Customer Card” is virtual and is associated with the purchase whenever you put the taxpayer number.
2. USE OF THE "CUSTOMER CARD"
a. The “Customer Card” can be used for purchases of all INCM products, in the Stores, and in the online store of the INCM website, except in the following situations:
i. Publications and payment of Announcements;
ii. Assay products;
iii. Complaints Book, Notes and Electronic Complaints Book Modules;
iv. Coins exchanged at face value;
v. Sales of discounted products not covered by this scheme;
vi. Compulsory Periodic Inspection Certificates.
b. Sales of discounted products not included in this regime are not considered for the purposes of the INCM Customer card;
c. The cardholder is entitled to a gift voucher in the amount of 18.75 Euros for each volume of purchases of 375 Euros, excluding VAT, accumulated within a period of less than 1 year.
3. GIFT VOUCHER
a. Gift vouchers correspond to 5% of the total value of the sale, exclusive of VAT, and are awarded for each amount of accumulated purchases, exclusive of VAT, of 375 Euros;
b. The gift voucher is sent to the customer's registration email and is available in system for use in future purchases (in the online store and physical stores).
c. Each gift voucher has a maximum validity of 12 months after the date of issue;
d. The active gift voucher is automatically available at the checkout of the order, to discount just select the gift vouchers you want to discount.
e. If the purchaser of the products is the holder of the “Customer Card”, he or she may discount his or her gift vouchers at INCM’s online and physical stores;
f. Gift vouchers cannot be deducted from the following items:
i. Exchange of currency at face value;
ii. Payment of postage;
iii. Purchase of Complaints Book;
iv. Purchase of endorsements;
v. Purchase of Electronic Complaints Modules;
vi. Payment of advertisements;
vii. Assay Products and IPQ Stamps.
g. More than one gift voucher may be used for the same purchase, provided that the total purchase amount is greater than the discount amount.
h. If the refund of the value of the order is requested, discounted gift cheques cannot be recovered.
4. OTHER REGULATIONS
a. In addition to discounts, “Customer Card” holders will also be able to enjoy exclusive promotion campaigns for cardholders.
L. NEWSLETTER
1. Subscription to the Newsletter is available on the registration form and in the footer of the homepage.
2. Newsletters with product launch information, promotions, campaigns and offers are sent to the subscription email.
3. If you wish to unsubscribe, select the Remove option available at the end of the Submitted Newsletter.
M. PRIVACY AND SECURITY POLICY
1. INCM collects the personal data of the customer for the purpose of managing the account of Customers, billing, provision of information, as expressly authorized for this purpose, assuming the commitment of privacy and security in the processing and maintenance of the personal data of each customer under the General Regulation of Protection of Personal Data (GDPR), Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as information available on our website.
2. The entire payment process, from the selection of the means of payment to the introduction of the data inherent in the order payment process, is duly protected through physical and logical procedures, as well as by the application of information security practices inherent to its activity.
N. APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT AUTHORITY
1. Portuguese law shall apply to these “Terms and Conditions”.
2. For the resolution of disputes arising from this contract is the jurisdiction of the District of Lisbon, with express waiver of any other.
