ONLINE STORE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
A. USE OF THE SERVICE
- The Customer undertakes to use this online purchase service for Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda, S.A. (INCM) products, complying with the applicable legislation in force, as well as the «Terms and Conditions» set out herein.
- The INCM may, at any time, change, in whole or in part, these «Terms and Conditions», and the respective updated version is always available on our website.
- The Customer may not change the content of the service and send messages that contain computer viruses or that could cause any other damage.
- Customers of the online store are considered final consumers, subject to VAT, with the exception of those residing in countries outside the European Union.
- The sale of products through the Online Store is subject to compliance with the rules defined by Law n.º 83/2017, of August 18, which establishes measures to combat money laundering and terrorist financing, partially transposes the Directives 2015/849/UE, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of May 20, 2015, and 2016/2258/EU, of the Council, of December 6, 2016, amends the Penal Code and the Industrial Property Code and revokes the Law n.º 25/2008, of June 5th, and Decree-Law n.º 125/2008, of July 21st.
- The delivery of products purchased in the online store complies with the legal rules applicable in Portugal to distance commerce, in accordance with the provisions of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of February 14, amended by Law no. of July 28th and by Decree-Law No. 78/2018 of October 15th.
B. ONLINE STORE REGISTRATION
- The individual registration in the online store is done through the option registration.
- This registration allows for an easier purchase process, with the recording of the Customer's identification data, allowing immediate recognition of the same, without the need for new typing.
- The Customer can update his delivery data online whenever he makes a purchase in the online store, in the customer area.
- When registering, you can choose to join the “Customer Card INCM” program, with all the associated benefits and which can be consulted in the section Conditions for Adhering to the “Customer Card”.
- Access is restricted to each Customer and guaranteed by the use of a login and password.
- Associated with your registration, if you have chosen, you will receive information on marketing campaigns and our newsletter in the email provided, with the option of being removed from the list for sending any marketing and disclosure information.
- The Taxpayer Number indicated in the registration will be associated, by default, with the invoice issued at the end of the order processing. The Customer can update his tax number online for billing purposes whenever he makes a purchase in the online store, in the customer area.
C. PRODUCTS IN THE ONLINE STORE
- Products duly identified in the respective Catalogs can be purchased in the online store.
- The non-availability of a product in the online store does not mean that it is out of stock at the INCM, and may be available through another distribution channel of the company.
- The products available in the online store have a limited stock, so they may become unavailable without prior notice.
- In the event of a stock outage occurring after payment of the order, INCM reserves the right to refund the amount corresponding to the order. INCM will inform the customer and proceed with the refund within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of the information provided by the customer on the IBAN for the refund.
For Credit Card and Multibanco Reference payment methods, in the absence of IBAN information, the return will be made using the same payment method. - Normal finish coins are intended for circulation and are produced using high-speed minting and packaging processes that can cause scratches on the surface due to contact between the coins of each batch. These risks are not accepted as grounds for claim. Any other type of defect in this type of coin will be subject to specific analysis.
D. PRICES
- The prices shown in the catalog are in Euros and include VAT at the legal rate in force at the time of purchase, plus the respective shipping costs.
- INCM reserves the right to change prices at any time.
- The price of the products, the value of VAT and the cost of shipping are duly broken down before the final validation phase of the purchase.
- Only prices shown on an updated page should be considered valid, excluding cached information and pages that are not updated as they may show prices that are no longer in effect.
- Any other costs resulting from sending orders abroad, namely customs clearance costs, will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser of the product.
- The INCM informs that the prices practiced and available in the INCM online store may vary from the prices practiced in physical INCM stores.
E. DISCOUNTS
- In the INCM online store, various promotional campaigns can be presented as a percentage of the initial PVP.
- Promotional campaigns have a determined period of validity, duly broken down at the top of the campaign catalogues.
- Placing a product in the cart, without finalizing the order, does not guarantee the price or the discount.
F. ORDER
- The order of a product, chosen from among those existing in the product catalogue, is made by placing it in the shopping cart and completing the order.
- Placing a product in the cart without finalizing the order does not guarantee its purchase.
- For some products, duly identified in the online store, the acquisition may be limited to a certain number of copies per customer, up to the available stock limit.
- When ordering Complaint Books – Model 1898, Electronic Complaint Modules and Complaint Book Endorsement, it is not possible to change the data after processing the order.
- In case of loss confirmed by the delivery service, INCM does not guarantee the reshipment of a new order, due to stock availability. In these cases, the refund of the order value is guaranteed.
G. CANCELLATION, EXCHANGE AND RETURNS
- The customer can cancel the order by completing the form available on this channel, within a period of 24 hours, after INCM has received confirmation of payment for the order.
The customer can request the cancellation of his order until the moment of placing the order for distribution. Once the registration number has been assigned and placed for distribution, the order cannot be changed. - The cancellation request only takes effect when the order number and the name of the customer are indicated.
- INCM reserves the right not to exchange products, the process of returning an order and refunding the corresponding amount being applicable.
- The customer has the right to terminate the contract, returning the items in good condition, without the need to indicate the reason, within 15 days of delivery of the product, the total amount of the order being refunded by the INCM. The product “Complaints Module - Electronic Complaints Book” is excluded from the right to return; “Book of Complaints (private activity - model 1898”; “Registration-Book of Complaints”.
- The right to free withdrawal may be exercised under the terms set out in paragraph 5, by physically returning the item and sending an unequivocal statement of intention to return to the email address loja.online@incm.pt, which must indicate : customer identification (name, geographic address and email address); item identification, order number, and date of receipt of the item.
- INCM bears the costs of return shipping costs, when the item is damaged or if there has been an error in its shipment. In other situations, possible return costs will be analyzed.
- The return of the corresponding value of the order only takes effect after the good reception of the products in our services. The refund will be made within 30 days of receipt.
- Returned products must be complete and in good condition.
- The corresponding value of the order is returned after the process has started, as per the previous point, by the same means of payment. If it is not possible to make the refund by the same means, the IBAN will be requested and a bank transfer will be made with the amount.
- If a refund of the order value is requested, cashed gift vouchers cannot be recovered.
- If the order does not respect the purchase limit defined and indicated on the respective product, INCM reserves the right to cancel the order, returning the corresponding amount within a period of 30 days from the first 48 hours of the order request.
H. METHODS OF PAYMENT
- The products can be paid through the different electronic payment methods available, the costs of which are borne by the customer and debited in the sales document. Payment at the INCM online store can only be made via:
a) Credit cardIt will be necessary to fill in the requested card data in the spaces indicated.
b) Multibanco Reference (Exclusive to the National Interbank Network)For payment by ATM reference, you have 24 hours after generating the reference for payment. After this period, the order is automatically canceled. The ATM reference is sent to the registration email and is available in the user area.
c) MBWAY (Exclusive to the National Interbank Network)The customer has a short period of time, 4 (four) minutes, to confirm the purchase. After this time limit, the purchase order expires, in these cases it will be necessary to repeat the purchase process to receive a new notification.
- To ensure the reliability of the payment method, it is not possible to change the chosen payment method.
- If the purchaser of the products is the holder of the INCM Customer Card, he can cash his gift vouchers in the online store.
- Gift vouchers cannot be cashed on the value of currency exchanges at face value or on postage payments.
- More than one gift certificate can be used in the same purchase, as long as the total purchase amount is greater than the discount amount.
- If a refund of the order value is requested, cashed gift vouchers cannot be recovered.
I. SHIPPING CONDITIONS AND DELIVERY TIME
- Our deliveries are sent via CTT Expresso and delivered by hand, within a time window between 09:00 and 19:00. In the event that the first delivery does not take place, the Customer may request the second delivery with INCM. In the absence of this contact, the product is returned to our services.
- The return of orders to our services is informed by email. The customer will be able to reply to the email indicated with the request for resend, within a maximum period of 6 months. After this period, the order is canceled and the due refund is made.
- If the order is not received at the indicated address and no informational email is received regarding the return of the order to our services, the customer must request information, within a period of 1 month, indicating that the order has not been delivered.
- Deliveries are not made to PO Boxes.

Sending Proof Gold Coins
We inform you that, temporarily, sending gold coins is only available to the following countries: South Africa, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Burundi, China - Hong Kong, China - Macau, Cyprus, Korea (Rep. ), Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, Slovenia, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Ghana, Grenada, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Morocco, Mauritius, Moldova, Namibia, Norway, Poland (Rep.), Russia (Federation), Solomon (Islands), Serbia (Rep.), Singapore, South Sudan, Sweden, Thailand, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vatican. - Orders of graphic, metallic or other material products may be shipped separately.
- Orders are processed and dispatched in the order in which they are ordered, with delivery scheduled within the indicated deadlines, and it is not possible to schedule the delivery of orders.

Portugal Continental
Standard shipping via CTT: Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order, the lowest amount being €3.14, which applies to orders from 0kg to 2kg. In mainland Portugal, orders are delivered, as a rule, within 07 to 10 working days, after the date of the respective payment.
Madeira and Azores
Standard shipping via CTT: Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order, the lowest amount being €8.33 which applies to orders from 0kg to 2kg. In the Autonomous Regions and depending on the Islands, the delivery time can vary between 15 to 20 working days.
Rest of the world
Carriers vary depending on the destination country. Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order and the country of destination, at checkout. Delivery times vary depending on the country of destination.
The indicated deadlines are merely indicative, based on the history of orders. Except for unavailability of stock, INCM undertakes to deliver the ordered items within a maximum period of 30 working days, except when they are in the possession of the distributor.
Important: Delivery times may undergo changes and delays according to external factors, such as holidays, weekends, festive dates (Black Friday, Christmas season, Easter, among others), time zones and country laws (customs), among others . If delivery is attempted and the recipient is absent, this may also delay delivery.
J. COMPLAINTS
- The Customer has the right to submit their complaints to Imprensa Nacional – Casa da Moeda, S.A., at any time, within the legal parameters established for this purpose.
- Customers can submit their complaints by filling out the form available on this “Sugestões” channel, by email at reclamacoes@incm.pt or through the Electronic Complaints Book (https://www.livroreclamacoes.pt).

K. "CUSTOMER CARD" CONDITIONS
- GRANTING THE “CUSTOMER CARD”
- The INCM "Customer Card" is granted to all natural or legal persons, and is generated at the customer's request, by completing the registration form in the online store or requested in the physical store.
- The “Customer Card” is not physical and is available in the system 24 hours after subscription.
- The “Customer Card” is virtual and is associated with the purchase whenever you enter your tax number.
- USE OF THE "CUSTOMER CARD"
- The "Customer Card" can be used for purchases of all INCM products, in Stores, and in the online store on the INCM website, except in the following situations:
• Publications and payment of Ads;
• Contrasting products;
• Complaints Book, Endorsements and Electronic Complaints Book Modules;
• Currencies exchanged at face value;
• Sales of discounted products not included in this regime. - Sales of products with a discount that do not fall under this regime are not considered for the purposes of the INCM Customer card;
- The cardholder is entitled to a gift voucher in the amount of 18.75 Euros for each volume of purchases of 375 Euros, excluding VAT, accumulated over a period of less than 1 year.
- OFFER-CHECKS
- The gift vouchers correspond to 5% of the total sales value, excluding VAT, being awarded for each accumulated purchase amount, excluding VAT, of 375 Euros;
- The gift voucher is sent to the customer's registration email and is available in the system to be used in future purchases (in the online store and physical stores).
- Each gift voucher is valid for a maximum period of 12 months after the issue date;
- The active gift certificate is automatically available on the checkout of the order, to cash it just select the gift vouchers you want to cash.
- If the purchaser of the products is the holder of the "Customer Card", he/she can cash his/her gift vouchers in the online store and in physical INCM stores;
- Gift vouchers cannot be cashed on the following items:
• Currency exchanges at face value;
• Payment of postage;
• Purchase of Complaints Book;
• Purchase of Endorsements;
• Purchase of Electronic Complaints Modules;
• Paying for advertisements;
• Assay Products and IPQ Seals. - More than one gift certificate can be used in the same purchase, as long as the total purchase amount is greater than the discount amount.
- If a refund of the order value is requested, cashed gift vouchers cannot be recovered.

- Receive timely information, via the email associated with your registration, about the start of marketing of INCM products.
L. NEWSLETTER
- Newsletter subscription is available on the registration form and at the bottom of the home page.
- Newsletters with product launch information, promotions, campaigns and offers are sent to the subscription email.
- If you want to unsubscribe, select the option Remover available at the end of the sent Newsletter.
M. PRIVACY AND SECURITY POLICY
- INCM collects the customer's personal data for the purpose of managing the Customer account, billing, providing information, in accordance with express authorization for the purpose, assuming the commitment of privacy and security in the processing and maintenance of the personal data of each customer at the under the General Regulation for the Protection of Personal Data (RGPD), regulation (EU) 2016/679, according to information available on our website.
- The entire payment process, from the selection of the payment method to the introduction of data inherent to the order payment process, is duly protected through physical and logical procedures, as well as by the application of information security practices inherent to its activity.
N. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
- Portuguese law applies to these “Terms and Conditions”.
- For the resolution of disputes arising from this contract, the jurisdiction of the District of Lisbon is competent, with express waiver of any other.
